For private equity and corporate development

Everyone can screen the same companies. Not everyone can reach the owner.

SkySearch helps private equity and corporate development teams find off-market opportunities by identifying the real people behind private companies, even when traditional databases go blank.

Most results land in 15 to 56 seconds Nothing charged for what we cannot establish

Two ways SkySearch creates value

The list may be shared. The route to the owner need not be.

SkySearch turns an investment thesis or an add-on list into researched people, then resolves a contact path only when the evidence supports it.

01 · Fund origination

Find proprietary opportunities before everyone else.

  1. Thesis
  2. Target list
  3. Founder identified
  4. Contact resolved
  5. Your team reaches out

Reach the part of your target universe competitors struggle to access.

02 · Portfolio M&A

Find and reach the right add-on targets.

  1. Platform company
  2. Add-on thesis
  3. Smaller targets
  4. Owner identified
  5. Contact resolved

Extend buy-and-build into smaller, thinner-record markets.

  1. Yours

    Your thesis

You pick the market and the companies. That part is yours.

  2. SkySearch Lead Discovery

Name the people behind the thesis

Describe the market and the roles. We research and score the people. No addresses at this stage.

  3. SkySearch Resolve

    Resolve the blank row

One person at a time. A work address, the sources behind it, and a score.

  4. Yours

    You write

We stop here. The outreach, the reply and the deal are yours.

SkySearch stops before outreach and deal execution. Your team starts the conversation.

Active people intelligence

514K+

When a normal database stops, SkySearch keeps looking for another way in. One dot here is a thousand people found.

The searches that come back empty everywhere else.

  • Tee** R. Investment Director private equity, Bangkok

Our team already knew the company we liked. What we didn't have was a direct line to the family. The first search tools we checked were blank. SkySearch got us closer to the actual decision maker.

    Illustrative customer story

  • Ari** W. Investment Manager private equity, Jakarta

We look at a lot of founder-led businesses. The best targets are often the least searchable. SkySearch is most useful for us when the company is real, attractive, and strangely hard to reach.

    Illustrative customer story

  • Emi** B. Vice President lower middle-market private equity, New York

We already pay for several data products. They're good for coverage. This was different. We used it when one exact founder mattered more than another 2,000 names.

    Illustrative customer story

  • Ryo** S. Director corporate development, Osaka

We were mapping small family-owned suppliers before an acquisition study. The hard part wasn't finding the companies. It was finding a real person behind them. That's where this was useful.

    Illustrative customer story

  • Ken** T. Managing Director mid-market M&A advisory, Tokyo

We had the target company and the founder's name. The usual databases gave us nothing useful. SkySearch found a work email we could actually use, which saved us from asking around through three different intermediaries.

    Illustrative customer story

  • Mei** K. Senior Vice President cross-border advisory, Tokyo

One owner wasn't on LinkedIn and the company website only had a contact form. We tried the normal routes first. SkySearch gave us another path in without turning the search into a week-long research job.

    Illustrative customer story

  • Jae** K. Principal private equity, Seoul

The company was easy to identify. The owner was not. We had already checked two databases and some Korean sources manually. SkySearch helped us find a contact path without adding another analyst day.

    Illustrative customer story

  • Cla** W. Vice President private markets, Hong Kong

Our research team had already done the company work. The missing piece was one senior person in a private business. SkySearch was useful because it started where the database search stopped.

    Illustrative customer story

  • Har** C. Investment Director lower mid-market private equity, London

We had a niche founder-led target outside London. The business had a website from another era and almost no people data. SkySearch found enough for us to make a proper first approach.

    Illustrative customer story

  • Yi-** L. Senior Manager corporate development, Taipei

For a small acquisition target, there were only two people we really wanted to speak with. Neither had a useful public profile. We got a contact path without sending the team into a long manual search.

    Illustrative customer story

  • Chr** M. Managing Director boutique M&A advisory, Florida

A buyer gave us three founder names and said, "Can you reach these people?" Two were straightforward. One was a dead end everywhere we checked. That third one is why this product makes sense.

    Illustrative customer story

  • Anh** N. Director M&A advisory, Ho Chi Minh City

We had a local manufacturing owner on a buyer's wish list. There was almost nothing online in English. The search still came back with something useful, which is exactly why we tested it.

For the companies you want to own

The list is the easy half. The person on the blank row is the work.

SkySearch is a contact research service. Give it a person or a role and a company. It researches that one person across company registries, filings, company sites, news and local-language records. Then it reports a work email address, the evidence behind it, and a confidence score. It is not a contact database. Nothing is looked up from a list we already hold.

You asked for the founder at each company. Every name and address here is made up.
Company What came back Result
Example Tsukigase Precision takao@example.com Found
Example Rayong Fasteners somsak@example.com Found
Example Shirakawa Bearings Two directors share the name Needs review
Example Hoshino Seals mika@example.com Found
Example Bekasi Castings No route to a person yet Not found

Each result comes with the sources it was built from. A score is not a promise of delivery.

Your list is built. We research each blank row from scratch.

A missing database record does not have to end your search. We follow the clues across company websites, public records, local-language sources and proprietary data.

We never cite a contact database as a source. Not RocketReach, not ZoomInfo, not Apollo, not Lusha. We open the document and read the address out of it.

Every result keeps the trail behind it, so a contact can still be justified months later. Where the evidence does not reach the bar, we say so rather than reporting an address.

Our own test

We ran the same ten people through four tools.

Ten people we actually needed to reach. Here is what each one came back with.

Work email addresses returned for the same ten hard-to-find people in Asian markets, September 2026
Tool Work emails found, out of ten
SkySearch 8 of 10
RocketReach 5 of 10
Apollo 4 of 10
Lusha 4 of 10

How we tested. September 2026. Ten hard-to-find people in Asian markets, where a global database is thin and a professional network is thinner. A result counted if the tool returned any work email address for that person, which is the bar most generous to the other three.

Active, not passive

Active and passive, line by line.

One of these reads a record that was written months ago. The other sends a team of agents out while you wait.

Passive database

Apollo, RocketReach, Lusha and the rest

One index. The same one for everybody. Read once, on their schedule.

Active research

SkySearch

A team of agents, sent for your one person, reading live sources now.

How a passive database and SkySearch differ, point by point
The question A passive database SkySearch
When you search It reads a record it stored earlier. It starts a new investigation for that one person.
How fresh it is As fresh as their last refresh. As fresh as the moment you asked.
Which sources The same set, for everyone. Chosen for that person, that company, that market.
Language Mostly English. The local language and script, in 20 markets.
Who it can reach Whoever is already in the index. Whoever leaves a public trace anywhere.
When it finds nothing It returns nothing. That is where it starts.

The atlas

Across the sky, and into the local filing.

Every market hides its records somewhere different. We send an agent that knows where to look, reads the local language, and brings the answer back to one screen.

Made in the real product. The name, the company and the address are invented.

Finding candidates is free. You are charged only for what we establish.

Your database should not pick your leads.

A blank result is not an answer. It is where the work should start. Here are the four reasons a search comes back empty.

  • The name on file has moved on

We research who holds the role now, and show you the source.

  • The databases all show the same blank

Those tools stop at the same sources. We check registries, filings and local records.

  • The founder sits behind a family holding company

We follow the company links until we reach the person.

  • The register entry is in the local language

We read it in its own script, not in translation.

Each one is a search a database cannot run for you.

For the companies you already own

One level down, the records get thinner.

A portfolio company works its own add-on list. It hits the same blank rows, and it hits them harder. The smaller the company, the thinner the public record.

Old sites, family holding companies, and a register entry in the local language. That is the case this was built for.

They can start their own workspace on their own list. There is nothing for you to set up.

  • Smaller companies. Fewer of them have a website worth reading.
  • Thinner records. Often a filing, and not much else.
  • More local language. The register entry is the record.

Questions

Before you trust a contact, understand how it was found.

Questions about money are answered in full on the pricing page.

Does this replace the sourcing platform we already pay for?

No. Keep the tools that build and score your list.

SkySearch starts after that. Give it a person or role at a company you chose.

Can we get the results into our CRM?

Not yet. There is no CRM link today.

You can export results from the workspace. To start, enter a person or role and a company.

What is SkySearch?

SkySearch is a contact research service. You give it a person or a role and a company. It researches that one person, then reports a work email address with the evidence behind it and a confidence score.

It is not a contact database. Nothing is looked up from a list we already hold. Each search reads company registries, exchange filings, company websites, news and local-language records.

How is SkySearch different from Apollo, RocketReach or Lusha?

Those are databases. They look a person up in records they already hold, and they return nothing when they hold nothing. SkySearch starts working at that point.

In our own test of ten hard-to-find people in Asian markets, SkySearch returned a work email for 8. RocketReach returned 5. Apollo returned 4. Lusha returned 4. We also never cite a contact database as a source, so a result never rests on another tool's guess.

What if no email is found?

If no address passes our checks, that people credit is not charged. The evidence we keep still costs 1 people credit.

Often there is another way in. It might be a contact named in the company's own filings. It might be a board seat the person holds, or a different company domain. Each one comes with its own evidence and its own score.

How much does SkySearch cost?

You get 10 free people credits when you sign up. No card is needed.

A complete result costs 2 people credits: 1 for the evidence we keep, 1 more for an address we can report. So ten free people credits is up to five complete results. Top-ups start at $10. Plans start at $99 a month for 50 people credits. The full table is on the pricing page.

How long does a search take?

Most results land in 15 to 56 seconds. That range was measured across about 110 production searches over fourteen days.

Finding candidates is free and comes back first. You only spend people credits once you confirm which person you meant.

Does a high score guarantee delivery?

No. The score reflects the checks behind the result. Mail filters and job changes can still affect delivery.

The score says how strongly the independent sources agreed. We show you every one of them, so you can judge the risk yourself. Below 65 we report no address at all.

Which countries does SkySearch cover?

SkySearch researches people worldwide. Twenty markets get a second pass in their own language and script. They are Thailand, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, India, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Elsewhere the same rule applies in that market's own language. See where we reach.

Does SkySearch work outside Asia?

Yes. SkySearch researches targets worldwide, including sources in local languages.

It helps most where the public record is thin. Think private companies, founder-led firms, holding structures, and filings in another language. That pattern is common across Asia. It is just as common for private companies in Europe, the Middle East and the Americas.

Where does SkySearch get its data?

We read public records, company registries and filings. We read company websites, news and local-language sources. We license data too. And we run live checks on the company's own mail domain.

We give you ways to reach people at work, for work. The evidence behind every result is kept, so a contact can still be justified months later. We act on access, correction and erasure requests.
